Paul Burrell, Private Secretary and close friend of the late and very missed Princess Diana joined us with his friends at Atlanticview Cape Town in Camps Bay

Paul wrote after staying at Atlanticview Cape Town Boutique Hotel in Camps Bay "An enormous thank you to everyone at "Atlanticview" for helping to make my first visit to Cape Town such a special and memorable one. We have been overwhelmed by the kind and generous hospitality and spectacular views. We are sad to leave, but happy to know that we will return again next year to see you. Greg, Rainer, Little Audrey and the rest of the Atlanticview family, Thank you for sharing this special place with us. Paul Burrell

Dear Paul, It was a pleasure to have you and your friends join us at Atlanicview. I really enjoyed those chats about our favorite Princess and some of our mutal friends at Buckingham Palace. You really took me down memory lane. Thank you for that. I and the family look very forward to seeing you again. And now there is a little Rainer Gregory added to the family as well! Please do come back soon.

Greg ,Rainer, Audrey and the Atlanticview Family!    PS, Thank you so much for the copy of your book "A Royal Duty" I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

2nd July

To all at Atlanticview,

What a beautiful relaxing hotel, perched high up in Camps Bay, for me reporting for the BBC, its not often I get to enjoy such naturally beautiful views.
Much of my time is spent following the test horsemen of the apocalypse to natural disasters and war zones.
I will recommend and come again given the chance.

Kind Regards,

Hi Greg!

Scott and I can't thank you and your staff for such hospitable accommodations during our recent visit to Cape Town. The room was fantastic and the food and service were out of this world. Your staff was so knowledgable, accommodating, and provided such VIP service. We felt like Kings and Queens! Monsour (probably not sure how you spell it) was absolutely incredible and we couldn't have a better driver/tour guide with us for our stay. Wesley, Wendy, and Bobby were equally helpful in securing transportation, reservations, and wine (OH THE WINE!!). We were so thrilled with our choice to stay with you and will be referring all of our friends and family to follow suit. We wish we could have met you and Rainer! Also, we told Monsour you should sell your robes-they were so plush and luxurious!
Thank you again!
Jenn and Scott

Dear Greg,
Just wanted to thank you for an absolutely wonderful 3 nights... the Penthouse is stunning and my son, Olly, loved the Rock room..we caught a brief glimpse of ' Royalty' and signed the guest book under them!
Thank you for the sundowners it is such a great idea and the nibbles were exquisite. The staff were all absolutely charming and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. I love the house and decor and admire your taste and attention to detail. The house style is great..the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. Particularly impressed with Jarrad and Wesley who I understand were new to Atlantic have made two excellent appointments there!!
Only problem...everywhere else pales into insignificance after a stay at Atlantc View...hope we will return one day.

Thanks again and very best wishes
Julia Hunter

Hi Greg

I must just thank you for a wonderful weekend. Your staff were excellent. As a south African it was nice to hear all the positive comments from the foreign guests. You have a new youngster working for you at the hotel. He was brilliant. His interaction with the guests was excellent.

Will definetly make use of your place again.

Most of the boutique hotels have advertised themselves on the internet and have given all the details that are required for a customer. You can compare different hotels easily and then you can book the hotel directly. It is an easier way to book the hotel via the internet because when you reach them you do not have to worry about booking, you just have to carry your baggage into the hotel that you booked at.

You can even book the hotel after you reach Cape Town. Accommodation Cape Town

There is no doubt that Cape Town, loved for its icon, Table Mountain, is one of the most vibrant and exhilarating cities in the world, particularly because whichever accommodation you opt for, you will be just a short drive to some of the most exquisite and thrilling attractions you can imagine. Cape Town's Mediterranean climate lures tourists wanting to experience riveting extreme sports and adventure in a world class destination spot. The accommodation in Cape Town is anything you need; from budget to standard to luxury accommodation.

Graded Accommodation Establishments Provide Credibility

Many accommodation establishments are graded, giving credibility to the establishment. Graded accommodation in Cape Town applies for a star rating, upon which an assessor evaluates the establishment. Graded accommodation in Cape Town can be basic or luxury, where guests can get simple, clean accommodation or super luxurious accommodation where staff bend over backwards to please and will book your accommodation, arrange car hire, and offer advice on the many luxury accessories and facilities you can enjoy.

What is Your Budget?

It all depends on your budget, and what your needs are. All accommodation is geared up to cater for the hordes of tourists who throng to the city throughout the year. Visitors can board a boat to Robben Island, visit craft markets, spend money at the trendy shops and boutiques, be a part of the bustling nightlife, pick up some fine wines at the different wine estates or spend time on the bikini beaches of Cape Town. The south peninsula has the warmer water villages of Muizenberg, Simon's Town and Fish Hoek and these villages offer a range of affordable accommodation types. Heaps of people will tell you that the views of Table Mountain from Bloubergstrand are a top attraction, and nature lovers and bird watchers can spend time at any of the nature reserves, and be thrilled to know that there is accommodation which is eco- friendly, offering a more nature based getaway experience.

Accommodation to Suit You

Cape Town offers a wide selection of quality accommodation types to cater for every age group. Game lodges, cozy bed and breakfasts, guest houses, family resorts, caravan sites, budget rooms, farm accommodation as well as backpacker accommodation means there is accommodation to meet every kind of need and budget. Transport is excellent in Cape Town, which means it is easy to choose accommodation in Cape Town which is further from the beaches and major attractions, but which can save you some money on accommodation. Whether you're looking for clean and comfortable backpacker accommodation or luxurious five-star hotel accommodation, Cape Town has plenty of choice.

Guests can Know What to Expect

Much of Cape Town's accommodation has been inspected and graded for quality, and travelers can know what to expect from any of the establishments who are members of AA Travel. The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa too is an internationally recognized system of quality assurance, with strict internationally recognized criteria for grading. Travelers looking for graded accommodation in Cape Town and who also want their pet to accompany them, can do research to find accommodation where pets are welcome.
